ACADEMY OF RICHMOND COUNTY BANDS
 

"PURPLE GROOVE" JAZZ BAND

 

The "Purple Groove" jazz band is one of the top bands at the Academy of Richmond County. This band is asked to play at events both in and out of school.The jazz band is open to all students with at least two years of musical experience. Exceptions can be made depending on the students reading ability and practice ethic. The jazz bnad is serious, expresive, and on point. If you are looking to excell in your craft, and musical expression then the jazz band is for you.

 

This year we are looking to have an excellent year. We are scheduled to play with Wycleff Gordon for a Lydia Project charity event to be held here at ARC.
